Hello,

I'm trying to run the first example of ch02 of Mahout in action.

I have got following errors.
Did I have to create the pom.xml.
If yes: What I have to put in? Where I have to put it?
If no: Where can I find it? Cause apparently maven did not find it.

Where can I find taste files of "org.apache.mahout.cf.taste.*"?

All of the examples in the Mahout in Action book relate to Mahout version 0.5 please try again with that version

You can't "mvn install" from a subdirectory since it will not have
built the other required artifacts. Build from the top level.

it's better to download examples from https://github.com/tdunning/MiA
or book's site - it contains ready to use pom.xml
