Ok. Then if elasticsearch can't index it, it will not give you back an `_id`.

So can you reproduce the problem please with a script that we can easily run in Kibana?

Like:

DELETE index
PUT index/_doc/1
{
  "foo": "bar"
}
GET index/_search
{
  "query": {
    "match": {
      "foo": "bar"
    }
  }
}
```
