Hi,

this is not about Lucene.NET even though it might be useful here as
well.

Over in log4net land we are trying to get our act together and finally
do a new release.

Given that many years have passed and the people active now haven't been
around all the time we are looking for a tool that compares the public
APIs of two assemblies so we can be sure we don't break any of the
existing APIs of the last release.

In a Java project I'd use Clirr[1], does anybody know a similar tool for
.NET assemblies?

I have heard people use http://www.bitwidgets.com/ to success. I have not used it myself though.

This looks useful at first glance.  Unless anything else is mentioned
I'm going to apply for a free license for Open Source projects and share
my experience here.
