Hi Steph and Maxence,

we started to work on it somewhere in 2016, but due to reprioritization, we kind of froze our translation task, and it ended up as a sleeping beauty in our shared drive. But thanks to your question, we did some homework, zipped the work we did and created a related issue. The tranlsation may not be complete (although it probably is), and I forgot to which MCF version it applies, but if you start from it, you can probably gain a lot of time if you want to translate the MCF ressource bundle.

Regards,

Cedric

Hello,

The latest news was that they did not implement this feature. I will ask them. Thank you.

Take a look at FranceLabs' Datafari. Not sure if they may have started on it.

Yes, of course you can.

Have a look in the manifoldcf source tree (root here: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/manifoldcf/trunk), and look for files named "common_en_US.properties" under the many src/main/native2ascii project areas.  To submit French translations, you:

(1) Copy the common_en_US.properties files to common_fr_FR.properties in the same folder
(2) Change the English to French, and be sure that the file encoding is utf-8
(3) Build and run

If you want to submit your translations to ManifoldCF, you can create a ticket and attach your translations files to the ticket -- OR better yet, attach a diff that includes all of them.  To get that diff, you need to svn add all of them to your working copy of trunk, and then at the root do: svn diff >myticket.patch

That just means that there are no French translations available.

Hello Karl,

What is the reason of this ERROR :

./manifoldcf.log:17656:ERROR 2018-06-01T09:57:16,715 (qtp1601687801-508) - Missing resource bundle 'org.apache.manifoldcf.agents.output.solr.common' for locale 'fr': Can't find bundle for base name org.apache.manifoldcf.agents.output.solr.common, locale fr; trying en_US

It’s a TIKA problem ?
I have miss a dependency ?

Thanks,
