The site does look great, I only have one concern and that is that is seems
we used bitbucket.org as our sole design inspiration.  I'm concerned that it
looks *too* much like the bitbucket site and that may cause problems in the
future.  I don't like having words and not backing it up without any
actions, so I would like to add to the design if that's alright with
everyone, I don't have anything now, but I can get something in the next few
days...I just need some time to think about the design.

Chris - I agree. I ripped off bitbutcket like mad. The idea was to get something up there quickly with the logo Troy put together. My understanding was that once we had a logo from the contest that Troy is working with SO on, that we would redesign the site to work well with that logo.
 
This was put together rather quickly and really I'm using it to learn how the ASF CMS works. I'll be refactoring it a bit to get common elements out of it, etc.
 
Feel free to make changes - I'm not married to anything, and I don't think everyone else is. We just needed something up and running.

It looks to me that  same problem exists in lucene java source. Do you
think it is a bug in lucene java? Do you know any java lucene JIRA cases
or users complains related with same issue?
