Does anyone have a system for diagramming M/R computations? How would
you document an algorithm for someone else to understand? I'm
especially interested in visual techniques- an easy way to whiteboard
a multi-stage problem.

If you're using Cascading, then the Flow that is created for a M/R  
workflow can be used to generate a .dot file.

Several apps can display these, I use OmniGraffle on my Mac.
