Hi,
I am generating facet for a field which has one of the value "NA" and I
want solr should not create facet(or ignore) for this("NA") value. Is there
any way to in solr to do that.

I don't think it comes at any added cost for solr to return that facet
so you can filter it
out in your business logic.....

You could add this filter directly in the solr query. Here is an example
using SolrJ:
SolrQuery solrQuery = new SolrQuery();
        solrQuery.set("q", "*:*");
solrQuery.addFilterQuery("-myfield:N/A");
