I hereby nominate Sean Owen to be the Chair of the proposed Mahout PMC.

If we have a second and Sean accepts, then we can add him to the list of candidates for a vote on Friday, March 15th.

FWIW, if Sean is elected, the resolution would be amended to say:

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Sean Owen
      be appointed to the office of Vice President, Apache Mahout, to
      serve in accordance with and subject to the direction of the
      Board of Directors and the Bylaws of the Foundation until
      death, resignation, retirement, removal or disqualification,
      or until a successor is appointed; and be it further

This looks just as good as my nomination thread, but it doesn't specify a
time limit.

I suggest that we agree to the same time limit as on my thread that I
mistakenly created (Wednesday 3/17 at noon PDT).  Also, if nobody else is
nominated, we should consider Sean elected by acclamation.  If somebody else
is nominated, we should immediately start a 3 day majority vote.
