Re: 0.7 Release Engineer NeededJeff Eastman 2012-05-21, 13:43
Thanks Paritosh, I'm sure you can get assistance with the mirrors and
other problems you may encounter. On the release itself, we still have 11 open issues that are preventing us from entering code freeze. Of these, 6 are marked as low priority and only one is marked as critical. Do we want to: A - punt all non-critical issues to 0.8 B - punt all low priority issues to 0.8 and wait for the others to be resolved C - punt all open issues to 0.8 and get on with the release D - delay the target date for code freeze until 1 June and reassess then Jeff On 5/21/12 7:55 AM, Paritosh Ranjan wrote: > I would like to volunteer for the Release Engineer. > > I have read the how to release page. > I am comfortable with the maven release plugin and also nexus ( I have > once released maven lucene plugin to nexus ). > However, I am not comfortable with the mirrors and the packaged > website/news thing, so, would need some help there. > > If someone else wants to do it, then also I have no issues. > > Paritosh > > On 18-05-2012 00:02, Jeff Eastman wrote: >> We need a volunteer to become the Release Engineer for the upcoming >> 0.7 Mahout release.
